Our owner and founder
Even before cutting hair herself, founder JC was in and around hair salons: from childhood into her formative years, she watched her mother and uncle cut and style hair. Seeing that they could make people happy through hairdressing, they spurred JC on to do the same. After graduation from one of the best hair academies in LA, she spent years in numerous expert-level, celebrity-attended salons. While working at big-name salons, she learned that a personal and engaging atmosphere is essential to a quality salon experience. Overtime, she gained a clientele base that opened up the prospect of starting a salon; with her own philosophy behind it. She established her comfortably snug Westwood hair salon in 2000.
